Tina called me, all choked up and sniffling…..she just got news that her brother is going to seek some help at the san diego drug alcohol rehab treatment center. As a good friend, I consoled her and told her gently that this was not such a bad thing because this program will help him better himself for the future.

Being a young bloke, he has a lifetime ahead of him to make right the wrong he has done now, rather than later. She was still upset about it coz she thought that he had stopped all this nonsense when their mother passed away last year – apparently she was wrong. I reckon he took a turn for the worst after Aunt Leen passed away. However, I personally am glad that he has taken this positive step forward and taking charge of his life again. I will have to call Tina one of these days again and remind that this is a good thing.
