2 thumbs & a dummy

In relation to yesterday’s post, I forgot to mention this incident which happened on Sunday. With all this headache of settling on a name for JR, people at Ted’s office suggested that we ask the girls to name JR which I thought was kind of cute although I knew that they wouldn’t be able to do it. I was right to a certain degree. The last time I asked Arianna what her new dolls name was, she said ‘Lula’ and when asked to name KR’s doll, she said ‘Lila’. I still don’t know how she came up with those name but I reckon Lula is from watching that cartoon Pocoyo whose pups name is Lula….as for Lila, I’m still figuring that one out.

Anyway, on the way to Grandma’s house, I asked the girls again :

Me : Can you tell Mummy what you’d like to call the new baby? What’s his name?
KR : Gabba Gabba!! (From this Canadian kids program called Yo Gabba Gabba which I hate with a passion)
Arianna : *After a bout of silence* Baby Petch!
Me : *speechless*

I have no idea how Gabba Gabba became KR’s choice but it was cute to hear her said it and as for Arianna, that’s really common sense coz when asked what’s Daddy and Mummy’s name….we are Daddy Petch and Mummy Petch. Hence it’s only right that the new baby should of course be called, Baby Petch. Definitely gave us a good laugh….
