My sewing days have definitely taken a back seat and my sewing machine has not had a proper workout since KR was born. But it doesn’t mean that I have not tried to squeeze in some sewing when I can. Other than trying to sew when I can, my fabric buying hasn’t stopped. lol I’m still getting stuff online especially from eBay – gawd, I love eBay but damn, it is EVIL!!!

I recently bough some Colorado knit fabric from a new seller and I love the fabric from her. Being her first buyer, I had free postage for a whole lot of fabric and she had a lot of issues with the payments receipt and what nots. But once we sorted that out, things were great. Now she is still willing to sell me her fabric at the price that I bidded for and I am looking forward to buying more fabric from her but this time, it will be outside eBay. So we have a win-win situation, only this time I have to pay for postage. But taking postage in account, the price I pay for that fabric is still good in my opinion so I’m going to go berserk today. :) They are all plain fabric but that’s ok coz most of what I have now is printed so plain is good. Looking at my stash, I scare myself coz it is growing non-stop at a crazy pace!

I’ve taken over another shelf and now have a box as well. With the new purchase, I don’t know where else to ‘hide’ my stuff!! *lol* Ted is so going to go nuts on me…hehehe!! Some days I wished I had started sewing when we first moved into the new place and not spend so much time on the net playing Scrabble and Wordscraper. In general, at one point in time, FB ruled my life but not anymore…it would be a mirable if I could actually sit through ONE game! lol Amazing what an extra child in your life can do – it changes EVERYTHING.

O well, an extra child also means that I can do more sewing though but I wonder if God could please make a couple of extra hours for me? 24 hours is not enough!!
