Pacman @ 14 weeks
I went for my 14 wks check up and all is well with bub and mum. Pacman is now 7.3cm and growing well. During the scan, he was facing the other way so we couldn’t really see him or find out the gender even if it was possible. My current obs is good in the sense that he gives us a print out at every visit so that is something I really like about him but other than that, I still find him a little cold. Here’s hoping that as time goes on, he will warm up.
Apparently for second babies you can feel the kicking earlier, but sadly for me, once again I have to wait till about 20 weeks before I can really feel the kicking because the placenta is sitting right againt the front of my tummy. Bah! I was really looking forward to feeling the movements earlier coz that was one of the things I loved most and once again, I have been deprived. Not fair!! Other than that, after being so happy that I wasn’t suffering from anything, I get slapped with terrible backaches.
It’s been quite bad really and I was so worried that it would get worst with time but I was assured that it’s an off and on thing as the body prepares itself for birth again and all the ligaments are now loose, so it is a norm. The backacges are that bad that I normally have my wheat heat pack stuck on my bad for most of the time. Lucky I got some nice ass-et to hold it up. *lol* Sleeping at night was bad until I realised that if I slept on 3 pillows, it would be ok. So here I am back to sleeping on 3 pillows as I used to. I don’t really care coz as long as I get my sleep, I’m fine. I am also expected to be waddling as well! Aiyo….like duck la then. *slaps forehead*
