I was just reminiscing the moments during *shivers* and after Arianna was born. Just trying to remember what it was like, how I felt and how I dealt with it all and omg, I realised that unlike some *lucky* people, I remembered clearly that I looked like a blardy train wreck after the birth!! *lol* I kinda felt like I was in one too.
A friend from FB looked as if she just took a walk in the park and Vien, humph…the woman looked amazing!! Not fair!!!!! I had like broken blood vessel around the eyes that made it all puffy and red, and my eye balls itself were the same too. I looked deranged. If I wasn’t in hospital giving birth, the social services would have been banging down my door to take Ted down for violent physical abuse!! Geez, makes you think of the amount of exertion you really put into pushing bub out…..
I really wonder if it’s going to as bad or worst this time….I am definitely keeping my fingers/toes/eyes crossed that it will be slightly easier 2nd time around. Or at least that is what Ted keeps telling me as his way of assuring and comforting me. *lol*

adoi..dont worry ler..2nd time around you know better mah..just concentrate on having a glorious pregnancy, i already see you say no morning sickness..so jealous though you dont know ler..later jinx yourself..lol

My dear friend, the trick is epidural..hahahaha…I tell you, it has saved my life..well, half of my life during the 2nd time ‘cos the blardy anaesthesiologist (geez..they even make their profession spelled difficult) didn’t give me the full dose. If he had, I would’ve waltz out of the delivery room..hahahhaa..

vien - haha! ya, i knew that with u it was the epi n although i was thinking abt it lots. i still havent decided if i want to or not. although it would make a HELL of a difference, i’m not too keen on that la. i may well stick to the gas n move up if i need more drugs la. but that’s my standing for now. who knows what will happen later.

Eh, I did the drugs before leh..it made me so sleepy. With epi, at least i’m fully awake..just couldn’t walk..hahaha..

sleepy? well i remember it leaving me high la n ted was laughing at me for that. in fact, it was my loss because i was high at that time coz i missed out on dinner! lol too busy getting high n tahan-ing the labour pains. dont know if the gas helped or it was just my mind at work la.
