Belly dancing baby

Actually, I have a lot of videos I wished I could have shared with you when it meant the most but because I had a tough time looking for a program which would convert all my humungous .avi to .mpg, I stalled for a very long time. But I have finally found THE program which solves all my vid problems. It can even convert my mobile .3gp extension as well!!! So happy me. When I did my search, many programs came up but they all had their limitations from certain number of days trial period to only allowing 50% conversion of the vid and the list goes on. But with Xilisoft, no problems at all except that you have to just ignore the ‘Register now’ request. That ain’t too bad la. So if you’re looking for such a program, this is it! :)

So anyway, to officially kick off more vid sharing in the future, I’d like to show you a potential belly dancer who could turn out to be a party animal in the future. Oey….. *slaps forehead* Must be my DNA la….. *lol*

Why Daddy shouldn’t go shopping for baby’s clothes…

…and I couldn’t agree more!! But I have to admit that these are just so super cute. =P

This is so sad…

Ever since we found out that we were expecting a baby in December 2006, we were so excited and talked about who Ella would look like. We both kind of knew that she would have long legs for sure as both us are kind of tall ourselves. Other than that, we weren’t sure who she’s look like. Sometimes, the child would resemble the previous generation ie. grandparents instead of the parents and if she did follow our parents, that’s not a problem coz Ted’s parents especially his mum looked like a Marilyn Monroe look-alike and dad had this world war pilot-like look and my parents, well….I’m gorgeous, arent I? lol :P

In anycase, when we got to see the ultrasound – we got more excited because we could see that she was DEFINITELY tall, the doctor told us so. But nothing else was obvious….and the minute she was born, the full head of hair was a big surprise and is still the topic of conversation when we bump into strangers at the mall or anywhere. I guess all that heartburn paid off! Ella’s hair is straight compared to mine and Ted’s but according to my mum, my hair was also straight until one fine day when we were on holiday in Butterworth and it was so hot that Mummy took me to get my hair cut short. I had long hair then….that afternoon, the curls took over and remained till today.

But now…..this thing tell me that my daughter doesn’t look like me!!! Humph, after all that huffing, puffing and pushing…..bah! :| I might have to try this again some time soon….

Momivore

Something we can all relate to… :P

Baby toons…

Just a few cartoons clips I got from a FWD email. Cute eh? :)

The Mommy Test

I was out walking with my 4 year old daughter. She picked up something off the ground and started to put it in her mouth. I took the item away from her and I asked her not to do that.

“Why?” my daughter asked. “Because it’s been on the ground, you don’t know where it’s been, it’s dirty and probably has germs,” I replied. At this point, my daughter looked at me with total admiration and asked, Mommy, how do you know all this stuff? You are so smart.” I was thinking quickly. “All moms know this stuff. It’s on the Mommy Test. You have to know it, or they don’t let you be a Mommy.”

We walked along in silence for 2 or 3 minutes, but she was evidently pondering this new information. ”OH…I get it!” she beamed, “So if you don’t pass the test you have to be the daddy.”  “Exactly” I replied back with a big smile on my face.

Isn’t it wonderful being a Mom? Share this with all the Moms you know and put a smile on their face today. *grin*
