Something I couldn’t resist….

The minute I laid eyes on this…..I couldn’t get it out of my head. I knew I had to have it by hook or by crook….and I did. See…cute or not??

Penguin Suit

I realise  that it must be fun as a parent to dress your kids up, but sometimes I wonder how they take to it! I remember my mum tying  my hair up in all sorts of styles and although I was totally oblivious to what was happening around me at the time, I was told that people would always look at me and ask my mum how she did those styles on me. Heck, people used to look OUT for me! Lol

I must have been quite a head turner back then. *grins*

Will the cupboard over floweth?

YES IT WILL!

Reading Julia’s post and then reminiscing Aida’s when Avarayna was younger, I realise, ‘Omg….I’ll be going through the same thing or worst!’. In my previous post, I put up a picture of the stuff I bought for Kecik. These are merely some of the items we already have in hand. I have no idea whatsoever, what my MIL has been up to back in Sydney. But what I have been told is that there are already many sets of knitted baby clohes so that ought to keep the little one nice and warm in winter.

I really can’t wait to see what MIL has done so far…..will surely post up a pix in here but I haven’t bought any shoes yet. Then again, after seeing the number of shoes that ladies have bought – it’s scary coz I think I’ll be just as crazy too! Haha….

O well, it’s part and parcel of motherhood, eh? Gotta start the lass young…..

Shopping spree!

I finally got my butt down to that newly opened shopping complex, Giant. And true to its name, it is indeed huge and the prices there are certainly affordable. Mum, Sis and I went nuts over the baby clothes because we thought that it was very affordable and although most of the baby dresses weren’t that attractive, once caught my eye and although Mum said that it wasn’t worth the price, I couldn’t let go so ended up getting it. Mum can obviously sew better ones but if you gotta have it, you just gotta have it. Know what I mean? *wink*

Anyway, if you noticed, all the clothes we bought is white because Mum says that it makes the baby ‘look’ clean and fresh. But I’m getting sick of the whites so I sneaked in some with a bit of color trimmings! She preferred the blue trimmings but somehow blue is for boys and pink is for girl and it’s just weird to purposely buy blue although I know there is no harm at all. Better for girls to wear blue than boys to wear pink! UUuggghhh!!!

Anyway, this is just the first batch of clothes that we’ve bought and I think for now, this will do.

Kecik's first batch of clothes!

I bet Ted loves those socks! :P

Ps. Did I mention that that countdown counter is scaring the crap out of me?!
