Sheesh – 14 weeks already!! Where did the time go?? Scans went well today – Peanut is approximately 12cm long and growing on track. The only 2 issues I had was that I wasnt getting enough Vit D so I am now on Ostelin – 2 tablets a day for 1 month and its 1 tablet a day. The other thing is that I havent put on ANY weight since my last appointment and that is freaky coz I know that I have been stuffing myself.
Even Ted tells me that he thinks I havent put on any weight – whaaaat? Not sure how that happened but although I am stuffing my face, I am also carefully watching what I stuff my face with. I am absolutely terrified of putting on too much weight which I will not be able to lose after Peanut arrives. Yes, breastfeeding does help you shed the kilos but there’s just so much it can do. As it is, my baby belly and droopy boobs have not (and obviously will not now) recovered after Brandon, what more now??? O the sacrifices we make! Droopy boobs or not, it is worth it. I did tell my friend that I wouldnt be surprised that one day, I might even be able to flip me boobs over me shoulders!! And I guess that’s a sure sign that its time to see a plastic surgeon – it’s the least one who has to squeeze a baby the size of a bowling ball out of her v-jay-jay (4 times) could ask for, right?
But aside from that, all is good. I’m already showing a bit but my colleague says that I dont look 14 weeks, instead I’m bigger! lol I know I’m a big girl so I’m not surprised plus this is #4. Anyhoo, we have been told that the doc is 80% sure of what Peanut is but I reckon for good measure, we will announce what Peanut is at our next scan appointment at 19 weeks. In the mean time, take a guess!
