A day at Clowntown

Last weekend, we went to celebrate Alex’s birthday party at Clowntown. I had no idea where it was but apparently its not too far from home so off our tribe went. We arrived there at 11am and the place was just swarming with kids and parents!! It was more like a madtown than Clowntown! lol We were greeted with one of those funny mirrors that make you look weird – this one made us all short and stumpy. Not a particularly flattering look if I might add! lol Arianna didnt think it was funny at all, in fact she freaked out. :P

The play area itself is pretty huge, one lot for the above 4 years old with the slippery dip enough to make my stomach turn each time a kids slides down and the more timid for those under 4 years old. But the eye catcher was definitely the huge spinning teacups which was the main attraction there. After you register, you get tokens for the teacup rides. I wasnt too sure if the girls would like it coz it seems somewhat ‘wild’…spinning like that but I guess I was wrong! They even clapped coz they wanted to go faster!! >.<

And the also had rock climbing for the more adventurous kids - Arianna didnt want to even look at it but towards the end, wanted too but I wasnt up to it. Maybe for her birthday, we might do this again. :)

Teacup Ride
The girls loved it but Brandon didnt want to try at all.

Bob the Builder ride
Very content in his Bob the Builder ride :)

We spent a few hours there then had a quick bite which was as expensive as I thought it would be and then headed home. So what did we think about Clowntown? Would we want to visit again?
