This colorful and loud ceremony took place in Klang. I was so glad that we had put up at Prescott Hotel just down the road from the hall! I cannot imagine driving in town at night, at a place I am unfamiliar with. The whole ceremony took almost 2 hours – it was long and loud as the drum and what seems to me like a trumpet like instrument played throughout the ceremony. Sis had to change into another saree half way through – I’m so glad she has perfected the art of tying the saree without looking in the mirror. Her next challenge is to tie a saree in the dark or blindfolded! lol

The girls candid shot – love this one!

Kids all decked up in their Indian costumes

My cousin Darren, the bestman walking Mo, the groom into the hall

Note the change of sarees – here they are waiting for the moment to tie the thali

Yay, almost married here!
Mo wanted to tie it before the specific time. lol Guess he couldnt wait any longer.

As a sign of respect and to thank Mum for everything she has given and done, Yvette must wash her feet.
After tying the thali, dinner was served and soon after, people started to make their way up the stage to congratulate the newly weds. There are more photos aside from this which I will upload once I get my hands on them but this will have to suffice for now.
