Yvette and Mo got married in a Hindu ceremony in Klang on 20/11/2011. This is us making our way to Klang on 19/11/2011. It was my first ever drive to Klang so I was totally stressed out but all turned out well. 
Umah (SIL) preparing sis to take her to the wedding venue – like fetching the bride from the mother’s home to the husband’s place or something along those lines.

Surprisingly, Brandon took well to those who wanted to carry him. He seems good with strangers! Not too sure if its a good or bad thing.

Here we are at the bride’s “home” – since we are not really Klang people, Uncle Velu & wife became Yvette’s parents.
The following morning, Yvette’s nalunggu took place. The main reason why this is done is to cleanse and ward off evil spirits. While some bride may have to go through this between 3 to 5 days, we got a discount and only did it on the morning of the wedding.

Being the sister, I had to also perform this act. It was the first time I had ever done it and I felt so out of place doing it! lol But thankfully, I didnt screw up.
