A day at Mrs. MacQuarie’s Chair

This was our first family outing in a LONG time. I can’t remember the last time we actually went out for the fun of it really so this was definitely a welcomed change. Our weekends are normally spent recovering from the week – well, mostly its for Ted to recover from the week. Me, weekend or not, its all the same to me. So given the choice, I reckon he rather stay home and veg instead of going out which is really quite sensible. And on Sundays, we hopped over to MIL’s. That has been our routine since forever but since we’ve been going to MIL’s on Saturday, Sunday has been more fruitful.

Anyway, we went into the city for Mass and then after that, we made our way to the Harbour. Arianna was excited about Sydney Opera House so Ted wanted to take her there, hence our day out.

Multi-tasking with my Becco Butterfly II
This is me totally loving my Beco Butterfly II! :P Normally it would be Brandon in it but in order to curb some little people from running off, I’ve turned to doing this. :P

Sydney Opera House
Arianna was over the moon when she saw this

After a little drive around Sydney to show the girls some of the sights, we went to Mrs. Macquarie’s Chair for lunch.

Smileeeeeeeeeeee
This is what happens when ‘Say Cheese’ doesnt work and I have to say, ‘Show me your teeth!’. O.o

Love this shot!
Some artistic shot I was trying to take. lol

Girls checking out the Harbour
Arianna couldnt get enough of the Opera House – she was also looking for the Wiggles and Captain Feathersword!!

We had sandwiches on the bench by the Harbour…and although it was a somewhat dull and chilly day, it was time well spent. I reckon we might make another trip into the city next weekend and have a go on the Ferris Wheel we never knew was there! :) I’m looking forward to that.

O btw, if you want to see some totally unflattering pix of me, I’ve a boatload here. >.< Mugged by a bird!!!!
