WOOT!!! Who would have thought that I would be the one so excited that NRL has started. HEH…yes, since I married Ted, attended my first ever NRL game and watched the Eels play….I’ve been hooked! I have to admit that the first game I ever watched, I was watching the people around me more than I was watching the game coz I had no idea what the heck was going on. That was before we got married and well, after I moved out here it was hard to not get into the game when every game that was playing that night – he watched! It was a slow and painful (to a certain degree for me) journey for me as I slowly got to know the game and now I absolutely love it!
It funny how much fun you have when you share an interest with your spouse and how things just rub off on you. Lol Of course I’ve got my fav players namely Jared Hayne and Nathan “Hindy” Hindmarsh. Not only are they superb players, they are yummy eye candy too!! 
What I would give to see them in riding boots. *ahem* Get a hold of yourself woman!
But the best bit of it all is that the girls also know that this blue and gold is our team so whenever Arianna and KR see the Eels logo around, they are very quick to start shouting, “Daddy’s Eels!!”. Aaahhh….everytime they go it, Ted grins from ear to ear. Such a proud Daddy he is! Will have to get the kids dressed up in their Eels gear and take a pix. Definitely one for the album.
