Just a few cartoons clips I got from a FWD email. Cute eh?

I don’t know about you but when I was growing up, I used to lose my stuff at school so easily that I had to resort to writing my name on every single stationary I owned! And I have to admit that old habits die hard and I still do so for all my office stationary, particularly if it’s my personal ones.
Identity Direct has a huge range of products for kids going back to school when you can persomalise all their belongings with their names. I think it’s a great idea to avoid things being wrongly taken or stolen for that matter! Makes the searching a whole lot easy too. Can’t deny that these things happen too frequently in school. Been there, done that! Identity Direct has got it all from iron-on labels for clothing, Vinyl labels for bottles, bags, books, etc. and address labels for books that parents can go crazy over!
Best part is, they are colorful and mostly Disney based cartoons.

I got this joke from a colleague and I realised that sometimes, those that the top REALLY don’t know who those below are and I hate that kind of management!
On walking into the factory, the MD noticed a young guy leaning against the wall, doing nothing. He
approached the young man and calmly said to him, “How much do you earn?” The young man was quite amazed that he was asked such a personal question, he replied, none the less, “I earn $2000.00 a month, Sir. Why?”Without answering, the MD took out his wallet and removed $6000.00 cash and gave it to the young man and said, “Around here I pay people for working, not for standing around looking pretty! Here is 3 months’ salary, now GET OUT and don’t come back”.
The young man turned around and was quickly out of sight. Noticing a few onlookers, the MD said in a very upset manner, “And that applies for everybody in this company”.
He approached one of the onlookers and asked him, “Who’s the young man that I just fired ?”
To which an amazing reply came, “He was the pizza delivery man, Sir…!!!”
Once we move to our new place, the first thing that I’ve so got to get is a brand new couch! At the moment, we’re only set up to sit 2 people on nice armchairs and perhaps a couple of fold able ones that you normally use while you’re out on the balcony, enjoying a cup of tea in the evenings.
CoolSofas has some really cool modern and funky custom made couches for celebrities and I don’t see why I can’t be in the list too! If you wanna know, Snoop Dogg and Warren G are amongst them….oooo!!

I’m proud to say that I’ve packed my bags minus those last minute toiletries and what nots. I’m bringing 2 bags with me to the hospital. One is the labour bag and the other is the hospital bag where I’ve got my daily wear and bub’s clothes as well.
So what I got in my bags? Let me tell you….
Labour bag :
Hospital Bag
Well, that’s about it for now. Can’t think of anything else from the top of my head but it’s all getting so exciting! Have been getting loads of dreams too lately. One was of babies which was GREAT, the other one was scary and left me shaking – I dreamt that I was bleeding BADLY…..aacchhkkk!! Good thing Ted came home in time coz I really needed that comforting. And last night, I dreamt of Daddy….we were driving in his car. I liked that one. Makes me miss him lots and sad too coz he didn’t have the chance to see Kecik. Haiz….s’ok, he’s watching over us anyway. So that’s comforting enough.
Do you think English is important? I think it is. It’s used it many countries although not necessarily the mother tongue or main language of a country. However, in most countries, it is the most used language for communication from my point of view.
Now, to some English comes naturally. I spoke this at home and I never did have to learn it. But some people need the English language course to begin to speak the language. There are a variety of English courses to take up and England’s English courses are one of the best.
One of the courses which really took my fancy is the horse riding experience with English. I found that to be rather unique teamed with the fact that not only are you learning the language, you also have fun riding horses and if you’re new to riding, then it’s another lesson thrown in as well. Nice deal there, don’t you think?
Lying lazily in bed this morning, I was just thinking about how I hate getting up to pee in the middle of the night and what a hassle it was coz it disrupts my sleep. And I find that it takes me at least an hour before I can actually hit the big Z. Although Ted says that I’m out like a light at night when we go to bed, which is true, it’s helluva tough for me if my sleep has been broken. I think it’s because my mind is alert once I’ve been up and about a bit and THAT is when all sorts of thoughts and images from the previous night come crowding in my mind.
I find that I have to literally tell myself to block them out. I actually say to myself, ‘You have a blank mind. You are thinking of nothing. Your mind is blank.’ And only, then do I actually fall asleep. I kid you not! Anyway, it occurred to me that at this point in time, I feel like I’m on this never ending cycle of emotion.
The cycle I mention here would most likely be the repetition of the lot and reminiscing about it. I bet the cycle hardly ever changes as time goes by. Maybe the feeling and the level or degree of feelings will change but the basic will never. When your child smiles at you, all the bad feelings go away and you’re taken back to the time when you first found out you were pregnant, skips the awful bits in between and ends with bub in your arms for the first time.
But when they turn into little devils, you are taken straight to the bit where you wonder what the hell you were thinking to be having this demon child!! Although I haven’t reached this stage yet…..I feel that its bound to happen. That said, I think more often than not, parents don’t really regret having their babies. After all they are God’s gift, right?
Unless, they really are demon children!!! Then you’re better off without them….and at times like these, wouldn’t it be great to have a department store where you can return and exchange them for another? Hehehehe…..just a thought when I think of this ad that’s been showing on telly here. Couple has a nice child which turns out to be a monster by day 3 so they rush to the store to return him and get a more quiet looking and manageable child. I thought it was hilarious, however, I don’t know what the kids who watch it feel……food for thought, eh?
Did I ever tell you that Ted loves books? He loves books so much that he always ends up buying SO many books at one go that the built-in shelve that we have can hardly hold both our collection on books. He must be thankful that I didn’t bring back any of my collections from Malaysia!
Checking out some furniture which I think might be able to solve our problems, I came across this site which has great home office furniture. They’ve got loads of stuff for everyone’s taste and lifestyle. They’ve got desks and chairs, bookcases and cabinets. What really caught my eye was the bookcase. Ooooo…that would look SO good in the room and I kid you not, it will not be long before we have to get us another bookcase!!
Even though Kecik isn’t even born yet, we’ve already got a collection of kids books right up to fairy tales! I guess that just shows how eager we are to get us another bookcase. Hahaha….

It’s finally dawning on me [yet again] that the big day is near at hand. The tell-tale signs?
The extremely frequent visits to pee. At the moment, it’s like every half an hour and I wished I could let go of a nice fulfilling stream [sorry for the info overload here] everytime I go but sadly, it comes out in mere trickles and SO unsatisfying!!! Blek….
O, did I also mention that I have to go pee EVERY night at 3am? Well, thank you Kecik, for all the preparations, Mummy AND Daddy can’t WAIT to wake up at un-Godly hours for you. *sigh* What have we gotten ourselves into??? Lol…..
Our unit is made up of 2 bedrooms, 1 laundry, kitchen and a dining/living room. The second room is small and not really appropriate for an adult guest but sufficient enough for a kiddy room. We also have a locked up garage which is just nice for our car and just about nothing else since there aren’t any shelves in there.
When I think garage, I think of a huge space where you car can fit in nicely, and lots of room to store other stuff as well. But that is not so with ours. What I think we need is a good set of storage cabinets. CarGuyGarage has 1000 over products for garages and it would be most horrid if I couldn’t find ONE product that would suit us!
Going through their products, I personally think that a 3 Garage Storage Cabinet would do us a whole lotta good coz I could then keep Ted’s toolbox in the garage instead of in the laundry and all those Christmas ornaments could be stuffed in there too!!
