As promised, this is the belly pix which I was suppose to take a week ago. This is us at 27 weeks and growing….it’s beginning to show!! *grin*

That’s one of the maternity dresses Grandma Rosie* made for me.
You know, I had a horrid Sunday…..woke up at about 8.30am and was hungry but since it was Sunday, I wanted to sleep in so I kind of ignored my hunger until about 8.45am before I really couldn’t take it anymore. So I woke up, got dressed and washed up for brekkie. By then I already had slight cramps. I then had a glass of milk and some cake from the day before
But the gastric cramps were getting worst. I felt this pulling and twisting sensation on the upper part of my abdomen, the stomach area every now and then. It went on for ages and I pretty much spent the whole day lying in bed and drinking glass after glass of milk. It came up to a point when Mum asked me if I was in labour. How the heck would I know?? At one point, it did cross my mind and I kinda freaked out….but I thought, ‘No way man!’
Towards the end of the day, it was much, much better…but I didn’t eat anything too heavy. Just had porridge for dinner and went to bed early. The funny thing is that when I’m lying down on my left side, no cramps happen. But the minute I get up…..it hits me real bad…but it subsides after a few minutes….then it come off and on.
Could it be Braxton Hicks?? Am I suppose to be experiencing this now?? I just thought of it after checking out my countdown timer. Thing is, I even had a bad tummy which I blame that stupid cake for…. I was Queen of the Throne for at least twice that day.
And today, it’s almost all gone but the cramps still come back…but VERY seldom compared to Sunday…..now I’m just wondering is this like a sample of what labour is like?? If so…….O M G…..
